What to Expect:
- Expert-Led Learning: Engage in interactive forums led by Rice University’s esteemed faculty and network with leading industry and government space scientists.
- Exclusive Industry Access: Experience unparalleled site visits, including five immersive days at Space Center Houston with behind-the-scenes tours of NASA Johnson Space Center and Rocket Park, and an expert-led payload launch. Also, enjoy a special session with former NASA astronaut Dr. Leroy Chiao, sharing his unique space stories and aerospace insights.
- Launch Your Own Satellite: During a multi-day project, you will design, prototype, revise, and launch a payload on a weather balloon reaching 100,000 feet to collect and analyze data.
- Hands-On Flight Training: Take flight at the Lone Star Flight Museum! Attend ground school, participate in flight prep simulations, learn essential flight planning skills, and put them into action with a flight simulator.

Envision is committed to well-rounded, real-world-applicable education. All of our programs are designed by industry experts to help young learners identify their interests and gain the skills they need to make their dreams a reality.
Aerospace Academy follows a four-tier curricular approach that are core to the foundation of Envision’s pre-college programs.

Exploration
Students with shared interests come together to explore a potential career path, passion, or theme. They develop and practice skills commonly associated with that career focus.
Students build and practice skills that are commonly used within each career theme.

Maturity & Growth
Students develop and enhance soft skills, leading to noticeable positive changes that friends and family observe when they return home. Through exploration and hands-on experiences, students gain a deeper understanding and awareness of the world around them.

Students gain a competitive advantage over their peers at home, as the unique benefits of the program are only available to those who attend.
