Let Your Future Take Flight at the Aviation Academy
The Aviation Academy, an Envision by WorldStrides program, is an incredible opportunity to spend 10 days in one of the epicenters of aviation. The Aviation Academy offers hands-on experiences, including 5 days with Falcon AeroLab where industry experts help you learn the skills needed to compete in this dynamic field and lead you through challenging build workshops where you'll design, build, and test a model aircraft. Gain exclusive access to industry facilities, tour the U.S. Air Force Academy, and explore the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. From aerodynamic basics to flight simulations, you’ll get a comprehensive look into the field of aviation.
Engage with top-tier guest speakers, including former NASA astronaut and aviator Dr. Leroy Chiao, to learn from their expertise and gain invaluable insights into professional and military aviation careers. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to hear firsthand accounts of space missions and receive advice on navigating the industry. The Envision Experience
Envision is committed to well-rounded, real-world-applicable education. All of our programs are designed by industry experts to help young learners identify their interests and gain the skills they need to make their dreams a reality.
Aviation Academy follows a four-tier curricular approach that are core to the foundation of Envision’s pre-college programs.
Exploration
Students with shared interests come together to explore a potential career path, passion, or theme. They develop and practice skills commonly associated with that career focus.
Students build and practice skills that are commonly used within each career theme.
Maturity & Growth
Students develop and enhance soft skills, leading to noticeable positive changes that friends and family observe when they return home. Through exploration and hands-on experiences, students gain a deeper understanding and awareness of the world around them.
Advantage
Students gain a competitive advantage over their peers at home, as the unique benefits of the program are only available to those who attend.
