Build Your Tomorrow
This immersive program will introduce you to the overarching principles of engineering, including the design thinking process and how it, along with other key concepts, can be applied across a variety of engineering disciplines. Over eight incredible days, you and fellow high school students will explore your passions while being exposed to the vast array of engineering professions. You will also apply your newfound skills to assist with achieving some of the Sustainable Development Goals set forth by the United Nations.

NYLF Engineering is a great way to explore engineering careers and get a clear vision of your future
At this eight-day program, you will learn why the core principles of engineering and problem solving are critical to innovation and success. You will receive invaluable information from industry experts and experience engineering careers through site visits, tours, and simulations. Applying your engineering skills and creativity, you will also work to solve real-world problems during the program-long Capstone Impact Challenge.
At NYLF Engineering, you will gain hands-on experience and be surrounded by other highly motivated students who share your passion, while strengthening the time management, information analysis, public speaking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that are critical for success in college and beyond.
Plus, you will form lifelong friendships and leave the program with a clearer vision of your future and how to reach your goals.

NYLF Engineering follows a four-tier curricular approach that are core to the foundation of Envision’s pre-college programs.
Exploration
Students with shared interests come together to explore a potential career path, passion, or theme. They develop and practice skills commonly associated with that career focus.
Students build and practice skills that are commonly used within each career theme.
Maturity & Growth
Students develop and enhance soft skills, leading to noticeable positive changes that friends and family observe when they return home. Through exploration and hands-on experiences, students gain a deeper understanding and awareness of the world around them.
Advantage
Students gain a competitive advantage over their peers at home, as the unique benefits of the program are only available to those who attend.
Social & Fun
